Dubai Museum at Al Fahidi Fort

Built in 1800, Al Fahidi Fort is believed to be the oldest building in
Dubai. Today, it is home to the Dubai Museum. The fort has had a

neighbouring tribes, to rulers’ residence, to a prison. The Dubai
Museum was opened in 1971 with the aim of preserving an image of the
Emirate’s traditional life, which has all but vanished. …MORE

Dubai Grand Mosque

Dubai’s multi-domed Grand Mosque boasts the city’s tallest minaret (70
metres) and remains the core of religious life. Originally opened in
1900 in Bur Dubai, the Grand Mosque was rebuilt in 1998 in traditional
Islamic architectural style and houses 1,200 worshippers at once. It
has nine large domes and 45 smaller ones. Although non-Muslims are not
allowed inside, it’s still worth going to see its impressive exterior.

helicopter, plane, and hot air balloon rides that can give you a
breathtaking aerial tour of Dubai.

Souk Madinat Jumeirah

Madinat Jumeirah is definitely a must-see on your trip Dubai.
Resembling an old Arabic market, its vibrant colors and bazaar-like
atmosphere give you a hint of tradition with the luxuries of modern
Dubai. After a day of winding through the souk, you can enjoy a meal
with your friends and family at one of many delicious cafes and
restaurants along the waterfront. Your trip to Dubai will never be
complete without a visit to Madinat Jumeirah.

The Gold Souk

Dubai is not known as the “City of Gold” for nothing. The number of
jewellers is staggering with tonnes of gold being displayed at one
time. Gold is sold by weight as opposed to design or craftsmanship.
Although this is the perfect place to buy jewellery for yourself or a
loved one, it’s worth visiting even if you don’t plan on buying
anything, as the craftsmanship of some of the pieces is breathtaking.

Sharjah Central Souk

This shopping destination is really popular with tourists visiting
Dubai. Although technically not in Dubai, it’s only a 25 minute drive
away. To get an idea about what you can buy here, imagine luxurious
pashminas, intricately embroidered lines, and exquisite Persian
carpets, not to mention a wide section of glittering 24k gold!
