Horse Racing
Racing will return to Meydan for the 2011- 2012 season with a total of 21 meetings scheduled from November 10, 2011 through to the closing program, the spectacular Dubai World Cup on March 31, 2012.
The season will be the third to be held at the magnificent Meydan Racecourse. Last year proved another successful season with Japan’s Victoire Pisa being crowned the Dubai World Cup champion.
In addition to the action-packed Meydan racing, the prominent Dubai World Cup Carnival will be contested January through March with 10 fixtures to be offered. The 3rd Meydan Masters International Jockey Challenge will kick off the Dubai World Cup Carnival on January 5 and will run through to the prestigious Super Saturday programme scheduled for March 10, 2012.
The Dubai World Cup will celebrate its 17th running with a climatic close to the season on March 31.
